The younger of the Loxley sisters. Ellie was a talented dancer growing up, but had to cut down due to numerous injuries, and the discovery/diagnosis of two chronic conditions, hEDS and POTS. Ellie still does gentle ballet on her good days. On her bad days, she reads and scrapbooks. She works in customer services part-time from home.

Harper is a former teen pop idol, turned indie musician. She teaches music to children part-time and writes and records her own songs at home. She plays guitar and piano. She also runs a podcast with her best friend Lucas Knight, another former child star.

It's taken me a long time to settle on names and characters for my smart dolls and I'm still working on finding their styles. I've always had the idea that Harper would have a background in music and performance, though, and adding Ellie to the family has helped solidify the lore. I'm now shifting more towards casual clothes, rather than cute costumes, which make the characters seem more real.
